We constantly remind parents to park legally in the drop off area or surrounding streets. We have also through the Stay Safe, Get Active campaign arranged for the Village Hall car park to be open at drop off and collection times so that you can safely park and walk your child in to school.
We are keen to promote ‘Walk to School Weeks’ in May and October to encourage children to be active and walk to the Academy.
Bicycles may be ridden to the Academy by junior aged children or by Infants if accompanied by an adult. We ask that children wear safety helmets. Bicycles must not be ridden on the academy premises, and should be clearly marked with the owner’s name. Children in Year 5 have the opportunity to undergo the Cycling Proficiency award.
The Academy cannot accept responsibility for bicycles.
