This is where I will upload this week's learning. Please click on the 'weekly work to do' to find out what you will need to cover this week. I have also uploaded all of the resources in case the links don't work. Children can complete the book review when they have read one of their books, including a book from home. We have also added a suggested timetable for your day.
Don't forget to refer to your guidance letter, that was sent home on Friday, to direct you to further resources.

Welcome to Class 2!
Hello! We are Class 2, Miss Malkin is our teacher and Mrs Crawshawe and Miss Goodhew are our teaching assistants.
Spring Term 2020
This term our topic is Murrow-where we live. We will be exploring the village and its History. We will be learning about maps, how to read them and having a go at creating some of our own. In English we will be writing our own stories around a train after reading Oi! Get off our train. In Science we will be learning about steam power and friction and carrying out some fun experiments!
Listening to your child read each evening supports their learning and development. After reading please ask your child questions about what they have read to help with their understanding and comprehension skills.
Please also support your child in learning their flashcards and spellings as these help them in developing fluency when reading and independence when writing.
We are encouraging children to learn their times tables, each child has a log in to times tables rock stars which is a fun way to practise!
PE lessons are on Monday and Friday so please ensure your child has their kit in school on these days.
Each term Class 2 have homework and spellings sent home. Spelling checks are every Friday and homework is collected in at the end of each term.
